The $500 grant from the Town will be eligible for a matching grant by Virginia Commission of the Arts.  The VCA grant, known as the Creative Communities Partnership Grant, will provide another $500 to Blue Ridge Singers, if approved.

The Town of Front Royal has participated in the matching grant program offered by the VCA since 1988 in order to assist local arts organizations.  Blue Ridge Singers, formed in 2009, has now reached

such major growth in audiences, budget, and performing excellence that is seemed appropriate to seek support from the Town at this time.  We are thrilled for this recognition and appreciate the opportunities it will provide.

We are especially grateful for the Foundation’s commitment to the choral arts and for enabling the presentation of music that brings so much joy to our lives.

Thank you again to all our loyal friends and supporters who attended our concerts. You make everything we do worthwhile! We hope to see you in April, 2019 for our next series, titled “O What a Glorious Day”!
